Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Planning Ace, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The service

Planning Ace provides Fibonacci estimation sessions, sprint capacity planning, and meeting-driven refinement summaries integrated with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams. Features and limits may change as we improve the product.

3. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to violate any law or third-party right.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or probe the service for vulnerabilities outside an authorized disclosure channel.
  • Upload or generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes others' rights.
  • Resell, sublicense, or share access in ways that bypass account-based billing.

5. Beta features

Some features may be offered as beta or preview. They are provided "as is" and may change or be removed without notice.

6. Third-party services

Planning Ace integrates with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, transcription providers, and AI providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

7. Intellectual property

Planning Ace and its underlying software remain our property. You retain ownership of the data you submit to the service and grant us a limited license to process it to provide the product.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated summaries or estimates will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose — use your judgment before acting on them.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or for legal or security reasons.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
